Nobody ever remembers the 7, poor thing. Created just for fun, about 6 'er 7 days of work. 3DS Max 5, all textures created in Photoshop. Post in Photoshop 7. Composited onto a photograph of the "community room" at the school housing were used to live (other wise known as the procrastination room). Table Texture also created from an actual photo of a pool table's felt. For the scuff marks on the balls I used a scanned image of a piece of paper with smears. Smears created by using my finger with black marker on it.
This image was made about a year ago. C& C more than welcome.
wow, great photorealistic textures and overall rendering! Great lighting, textures, shadows and even depth of field. The felt and the fuzz are damn near perfect. Im glad i found this one while digging through the endless pages of crappy models and reflective spheres. This is by far the most realistic i've encountered on todays gallery visit.
Great stuff, i'd love to see how your textures looked in 2d form. Im always looking for new and improved ways to increase photorealism
Freakin awesome man, caught my eye. The table looks too bumpy for a normal pool table, but just perfect for the towers.
I've always seen the numbers in a different text, but I haven't studied pool balls. Still, looks like a damn photo, awesome job!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
